Man hospitalised by robbers in attack

A MAN has been taken to hospital in Edinburgh with facial injuries after being assaulted and robbed in the city.

The 46-year-old was making his way towards Oxgangs Road on Saturday when he was approached from behind by two men, who assaulted him and stole his wallet. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
