A 32-year-old man is expected to appear in court today after a smoke grenade was detonated in a busy pub at the weekend.

The man was arrested by Grampian Police after the device was allegedly activated at 11.30pm on Sunday night in the Hen Hoose pub in Stirling Street, in Aberdeen city centre.
