Man held over death of Greenock pensioner
A 41-year-old man has been arrested following the death of a 65-year-old in Greenock yesterday.
Police were called to reports of an assault in Greenock, Inverclyde, yesterday at around 1.20pm.
A man was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital but later died.
A 41-year-old has been arrested in connection with the incident in the town’s Lynedoch Street.
He will appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.
