Man held over city stabbing

The 25-year-old has been held accused of stabbing a man of 31 in the Hilltown area of the city in the early hours of yesterday.

Ambulance crews were called to the junction of Alexander Street and Carnegie Street at about 4:10am, and the injured man was taken to the city's Ninewells Hospital.

It is understood his condition is not life-threatening.

The accused man is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.
