Man held over bid to blast share prices

Police in South Korea have arrested a man they say was behind a series of explosions in the capital last week and say the suspect hoped to gain profits by panicking stock markets, into a crash, authorities said yesterday.

The explosions, caused by black powder in butane canisters, resulted in fires but no casualties, a police spokesman said.
