Man grew drugs in flat

A MAN has admitted setting up a cannabis farm in his home.

Stephen McGinty, 32, cultivated the Class B drug in his flat in Livingston, West Lothian, a court heard, but he was busted after police raided the premises.

McGinty pleaded guilty at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday to producing cannabis. Sentence was deferred for a social enquiry report and assessments of his suitability for community service and a restriction of liberty order.
