Hide AdNoyce, from Hampshire, was not at Glasgow Sheriff Court today when the case called but pled guilty by letter to breaching the peace.
Sheriff Walter Mercer gave Noyce a three month football banning order.
Procurator fiscal depute Clare Macaulay said insurance broker Noyce lives in England and had come to Glasgow’s Celtic Park for the game.
She said: “The event commenced at 8pm at night and Scotland scored a goal at 9.40pm.
“The accused had been sitting in the east stand and decided to enter the field of play, where he ran towards the south stand where home fans were situated.”
The court was told stewards removed Noyce and police then arrested him and took him to London Road police office.
