Man dies after falling ill in Calton Road cemetery
A man has died after suddenly falling ill in an Edinburgh cemetery.
Police in Edinburgh were called to Calton Road on Thursday, August 20, at around 2:30pm following a report of concern for a man.
The male was transferred by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh however he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances and as in all cases of sudden death, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
