Alan Aitken made his second appearance on petition at the city’s Sheriff Court today in private before Sheriff Kenneth Maciver, charged with assault to injury.

His appearance follows reports that a 36-year old man was assaulted on Saturday July 18, after telling a beggar, who had asked him for a pound, that he had no coins on him.
