Man in court over murder

A WEST Lothian teenager has appeared in court for a second time charged with the murder of a young mum.

James Ellis is accused of murdering Alami Gotip, 22, at a house in Livingston, West Lothian.

The 18-year-old, from Livingston, made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday. He was fully committed on the murder charge and remanded in custody.

Ms Gotip's body was allegedly found with multiple stab wounds in the living room of her home.
