Detectives launched a major investigation yesterday after a 24 year-old woman was the victim of a serious sexual assault on Monday night in the Seaton area of the city, close to the Beach Esplanade.
A Police Scotland spokesman said today: “Police Scotland can confirm that following extensive enquiries, a 22 year-old man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault that happened in the Seaton area of Aberdeen on Monday, 3 February.
