Man in court after £1m drugs seizure in Paisley

A man has appeared in court after police seized amphetamines worth £1 million from a flat.

Michael Sean Donnelly was arrested as officers recovered the Class B drug from a property in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Police raided the flat in Saucel Crescent in the town’s Hunterhill at around 7pm on Thursday.

The 24-year-old, from Paisley, appeared at the town’s Sheriff Court today charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody to appear in court again next month.
