Man charged over rape of woman in Dundee alleyway

A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly subjected to a serious sexual assault in Dundee.

The alleged attack on the 22-year-old woman happened at St Paul’s Court, Seagate, during the night of Sunday into Monday May 21.

Police said a 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
