Raul Vazquez Escribano, a Spanish national, died after the car he was travelling in crashed into a tree and flipped on to
its roof.

The 25-year-old, who was living in Falkirk, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Passat which left the road near the junction of Limefield Road with Drumcross Road, just outside Bathgate, 11 days ago.

Police said the 41-year-old driver and the other passengers, two men aged 24 and 25 and a 15-year-old boy, were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Floral tributes have been left at the scene by friends and family of Mr Escribano, who was originally from Madrid.
