Man charged over body in flat

A MAN appeared in court yesterday charged with murder after a decomposing body was discovered in a flat.

The body of Hugh Boyd, 57, was found in his home in Yorkhill, Glasgow on 1 October. Police said Mr Boyd could have been dead for several months before he was found.

Robert McGavin Henderson, 27, of Clydebank, appeared in Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with murder, the Crown Office said. He was remanded in custody.
