Man charged in bike death

A DRIVER is due in court today charged with road traffic offences following the death of a cyclist in a traffic collision.

The 37-year-old died after a collision with a car on the B9080 near Kirkliston Leisure Centre at around 2:10pm on Saturday. A 42-year-old man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today. Police are appealing for information.
