Man charged with attempted murder

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a 23-year-old man was injured by a vehicle on an Aberdeen street.

Philip Swarbrick, 36, of Fraserburgh, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in connection with the collision. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

A member of the public reported the incident at around 3am on Monday.
