Man arrested over £85k drugs cache

A 46-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after police found cocaine and cannabis worth £85,000 in a house in North Lanarkshire.

The raid happened at about 9:40pm on Saturday, when police entered a house in Castle Street, Airdrie, and discovered cocaine worth £75,000 and cannabis resin worth £10,000.

The man is in police custody and a report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
