Man arrested over car crash death

A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with a car crash in Aberdeen in which a city council worker was killed.

Jacqueline Lyon, 47, suffered fatal injuries when her red BMW 3 Series car was in collision with a black Volkswagen Golf on Beach Esplanade last Monday. The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
