Man appears in court over Princes Street rape
A 20-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in Edinburgh Sheriff Court following the serious sexual assault of a teenager in Edinburgh city centre.
Jonathan Duffy, from Edinburgh, made a brief appearance in private before Sheriff Michael O’Grady QC.
No plea or declaration was made and the case was continued for further inquiry. Duffy was remanded in custody.
An 18-year-old woman was attacked outside the Primark store on Princes Street at around 4am on Saturday.
