Man accused of gangland killing

A MAN has appeared in court accused of shooting gangland figure Kevin "Gerbil" Carroll in a supermarket car park.

Ross Monaghan made his first public appearance for a preliminary hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.

The 29-year-old is alleged to have murdered Mr Carroll outside the Asda store in Robroyston in Glasgow on 13 January this year.
