‘Madam’ let out on bail

A MOTHER accused of running a multi-million-dollar prostitution ring in New York has been released on bail after four months in prison.

Anna Gristina, originally from Kirkliston, walked out of a Manhattan courthouse with her husband and their nine-year-old son. “Thank you, everybody – I just want to be with my family tonight, please,” she said.

Prosecutors have accused her of making millions of dollars as the madam of a sex service. Gristina has said she was merely starting a matchmaking service, not peddling prostitutes.
