Lucky escape for farmer

A FARMER had a narrow escape when his tractor overturned and almost left him trapped.

The 54-year-old farmer was tending his field at Kidlaw Farm in Longyester, a few miles south of Haddington, when the vehicle overturned. Fire and ambulance crews were dispatched.

However, upon arrival they found that he had freed himself.
