Lucky escape after car flips

A DRIVER and passenger had a lucky escape after their vehicle flipped on to its roof after skidding off and back on to an A-road carriageway.

The pair were travelling on the A68 near the Soutra Hill wind farm in Midlothian when their Ford veered off the road and back on again.

Fire crews and paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after the accident at 10.10am yesterday but the occupants had already escaped the car unharmed.
