Lost kitten home thanks to the News

A FAMILY have been reunited with their lost kitten.

After spotting an appeal in the Evening News last Wednesday, owner Jan Cranston, from Kirknewton, got in contact with the Scottish SPCA and collected Alfie from the Edinburgh shelter.

The kitten was found last Monday after mistakenly being collected in a weekly recycling truck.

Mrs Cranston said: "Since coming back home Alfie has been very subdued and quiet."

She added: "We are really happy he has now come back to the family home."
