Looking for Helen Chalmers

Margaret Drummond contacted us to trace a Helen Chalmers, born in Edinburgh on January 23, 1950.

She writes: “Helen left in 1958 to go to Adelaide with her parents who finally settled in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her father Douglas Morris Chalmers was born August 21, 1920 and died in 1989 in Christchurch He worked for Maitland Radio at Gayfield Place. Her mother Margaret Fraser Chalmers (nee Ross) was born Septermber 6, 1920 and died in Christchurch, in January 2008.

“Their last known Edinburgh address was Gilmerton Dykes Place although they were from the Ardmillan Terrace area. An old friend of Helen’s from Australia would dearly love to get back in touch. Any information on any of the family member would be much appreciated.
