Local services take a break

SEVERAL services run by East Lothian Council will be closed on Monday due to the public holiday.

These include council HQ at John Muir House, Haddington, all registry offices for births, marriages and deaths, libraries and all communities centres.

In cases of social work emergencies, contact 0800 731 6969, housing emergencies call 01875 612818 and transportation emergencies 01875 612818. Waste and recycling servicesoperate as normal over the holiday weekend.
