Livingston man fails to appear to face sex charges

A JUDGE yesterday issued a warrant for the arrest of a man accused of historic sex offences against three teenage girls.

Paul Fraser, 49, failed to appear for trial for six alleged offences at the High Court in Livingston. Judge Lord Burns adjourned the case until today.

Fraser, of Livingston, West Lothian, denies raping and indecently assaulting one of his alleged victims when she was aged between seven and 18.

He also denies trying to rape a second alleged victim twice when she was aged between 11 and 22 and indecently assaulting her. He also denies using lewd, indecent and libidinous practices towards a third schoolgirl when she was aged 15 or 16. Fraser’s brother Conrad, 50, also of Livingston, appeared in the dock as a co-accused. He denies indecently assaulting two of the alleged victims.
