Little Mason is a cracker at Christmas

Dale Hutton, 31, and Linda Crookston, 36, were delighted at the birth of their third son, Mason, at St John's in Livingston.

The couple said that Mason, who weighs 7lbs 6oz, is the best Christmas present they have ever had.

Mr Hutton, a construction worker on the Airdrie-Bathgate rail line, said: "We got here on Christmas Eve at 6.30pm and he arrived by 12.30am, so it wasn't too drawn out."
