Literary lives on the line

SOME of the biggest names in Scotland’s arts scene are to gather in Edinburgh as part of a global live reading series.

Literary Death Match – in which emerging and established literary names perform their work before an audience and judging panel – takes place next month at the Capital’s Voodoo Rooms. Author Sara Sheridan, writer/performer Gavin Inglis, poet Michael Pedersen and magazine editor Claire Askew are among the artists who will give readings.

The event takes place on March 27. For details, visit www.literarydeathmatch.com
