Lifer dies month after being cleared

A MISSISSIPPI man who spent more than 30 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit has died less than a month after his name was cleared in the case.

Bobby Ray Dixon died on Sunday of cancer aged 53 after being cleared of a 1979 rape and murder due to DNA evidence.
