Lawyer found dead in his garage

An Edinburgh-based lawyer has been found dead in a garage at his home.

Clive Franks, who was a partner in city firm Franks Macadam Brown, was discovered at his home in Dalgety Bay, Fife, at around 4.30pm on Monday.

A police spokeswoman said the 60-year-old’s death was not being treated as suspicious and a report on the death has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

The spokeswoman confirmed: “Police in Fife responded after the body of a 60-year-old man was found within a property in Dalgety Bay.”

Officers were called out to the property by worried family members who were unable to contact Mr Franks.
