Late snow draws the skiers

Scotland’s largest ski resort continued to enjoy a late winter Bank Holiday bonanza as fresh snow and chilly temperatures attracted thousands to the slopes.

Sunshine and regular top-ups of snow drew visitors to CairnGorm Mountain. And the owners welcomed forecasts that the snow will last to the weekend, raising hopes that the late flurries will save a disastrous season.
