Large fire destroys large part of Speyside Heather Centre

A major fire destroyed large parts of the Speyside Heather Centre at Dulnain Bridge.

Three fire engines were on the site of the fire

The alarm was raised just after 8am on Friday. Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they sent five appliances to the award winning tourist attraction.

The fire service also deployed three specialist units to help tackle which took several hours to extinguish. No-one was injured in the incident.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
