Language help needed

STEVENSON College is looking to recruit volunteers for a scheme designed to help students hoping to improve their English but struggling for time and resources.

Currently in its 10th year, the college’s CBESOL (Community Based English for Speakers of Other Languages) volunteer tutor scheme has supported students through training. A new group of tutors is now being recruited for this year.

The ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) home learning department has more than 80 tutors and has worked with almost 1000 students over the last decade.
