Ladyboys get back in step

AN ex-member of the Ladyboys of Bangkok is to teach Zumba to his former colleagues in the Capital.

Anthony Suriyanon, from Phuket in Thailand, will hold a class for the Ladyboys in the Meadows next month.

The 38-year-old, who moved to the Capital earlier this year to live with his Edinburgh wife, has also launched his own dance school, with classes featuring routines inspired by the performances of the troupe.

He said: “The Ladyboys need to show off and want to pose like pop dancers. I want to bring something of that to my Zumba classes.”
