Knife-wielding thief holds up newsagent

POLICE in Edinburgh are hunting a man who carried out a knifepoint robbery at a newsagent's in the Trinity area.

The incident happened at News Express in Craighall Road. The suspect, with a scarf over his face, entered the shop and threatened a worker with a knife, before making off with cash and cigarettes. He is described as being in his late teens/early twenties and of skinny build.
