Kitchin urges ‘give a fork’

Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin is calling on restaurants to support a fundraising campaign for Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.

The chef, who runs The Kitchin on Commercial Street in Leith, made Maggie’s his charity of the month for May and asked customers to make a donation with their bill. He is now calling on others to join the Who Gives a Fork campaign as it goes nationwide: “Maggie’s is a fantastic cause and it is something I believe in so I am delighted to help. Who Gives A Fork is such good fun and it is vitally important that we in the restaurant industry get involved in things like this.

“Maggie’s are doing a tremendous job and it is an honour to support the work they do.”
