Kitchin top of the Scots

AN Edinburgh restaurant has been ranked eighth in the UK by a panel of prestigious chefs and food critics.

The Kitchin, in Leith, was also named the best restaurant in Scotland in the National Restaurant Awards.

Two other Edinburgh restaurants also featured in the UK's top 100 – Martin Wishart and The Plumed Horse, both in Leith.
