Kitchin added to the mix for chef experiment

RENOWNED Capital restaurateur Tom Kitchin is to join forces with five other top chefs for a unique project in London this summer.

Michelin-starred Tom has signed up to The Cube by Electrolux, a temporary eatery on top of London’s Royal Festival Hall, which will see the chefs involved interact with guests as they prepare food.

He will be presenting a menu using locally sourced ingredients for two weeks from July 9-15 and July 30- August 5.

Double Michelin-starred chefs Sat Bains, Claude Bosi and Daniel Clifford, and winners of Ramsay’s Best Restaurant 2010 and Michelin star holders Jonray and Peter Sanchez will also be spending time at The Cube, which has seen successful spells in Brussels and Milan.

Serving a minimum of five courses, dishes will be accompanied by specially matched wines and original sound and light concepts.

Graham Bremer, head of marketing at Electrolux UK, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing such a fantastic line-up of our partner chefs together for guests to enjoy and learn from.”

Tom opened Leith restaurant The Kitchin in 2006 and it was awarded a coveted Michelin star only six months later, making him the youngest ever Scottish chef and proprietor to achieve one, at the age of 29.
