Kirsty toasts charity cash

Television presenter Kirsty Gallacher has raised a toast to a city centre bar after it helped make a £10,000 donation to charity.

Browns Bar and Brasserie, in George Street, handed over the sum to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

The chain’s restaurants across the UK donated £1 for every main course ordered in May and June. Kirsty said: “I am delighted to be presenting this cheque to the NSPCC.”
