Kilted out in aid of charity

CHILDREN and adults got kitted out for charity as part of the Kilts for Kids celebration.

Hundreds of people across Scotland took part in the annual fundraiser on Friday, including children and staff from a Children 1st service in Bathgate. They completed a sponsored walk across the Forth Road Bridge after being waved off by Culture Minister Fiona Hyslop.

Wendy Fowler, resource worker at the Chill Out Zone, which looks after the kids, said: "The kids have been busy making T-shirts, flags and banners. It was an excellent event and a good cause."
