Killers free to buy sex toys

THE psychiatric unit which houses killers including Theresa Riggi, who stabbed her three children to death, is allowing patients on shopping trips to buy pornography and sex aids, it is reported.

The Orchard Clinic, part of the Royal Edinburgh Hopsital in Morningside, is said to allow patients to buy sex aids on escorted trips with staff, and to view porn in their rooms.

The move was disclosed in a policy aimed at “ensuring patients human rights are maintained” without “passing moral judgment regarding patients’ sexual preferences”.
