Kids panels seek recruits

VOLUNTEERS are being recruited to fill positions on a Lothians Children’s Panel – a body supporting neglected, troubled or abused youngsters.

Six recruits are needed in East Lothian and a month-long drive has been launched to secure the “right type” of individual.

Panels are required to attend hearings to address the needs and behaviour of children and young people facing problems.
