Jordan: King's British grandfather dies

The British grandfather of Jordan's King Abdullah II has died in his sleep at his Amman home. He was 95.

Walter Percy Gardiner, a retired British army colonel, lived in Jordan for nearly four decades with daughter Princess Muna, who is Abdullah's mother.
