Join Evening News online as traders grill city leaders at hustings

SMALL businesses owners from across the Capital will put city leaders on the spot tonight at a pre-election hustings hosted by the Federation of Small Businesses and the Evening news.

The event, in the Point Hotel, Bread Street, runs from 6pm to 8pm, with representatives from the main political parties answering questions from traders.

Key issues are expected to include improving the public realm in Leith Walk and boosting footfall in the tramwork-hit West End.

It will also feature discussions on plans for Edinburgh once the trams are up and running, support for city centre businesses and the wider development of Leith.
