Jobs come first for all the candidates in Inverclyde

Jobs were top of the agenda on the campaign trail with less than a week to go until the polls open for the Inverclyde by-election.

First Minister Alex Salmond joined SNP candidate Anne McLaughlin in Greenock.

He said: "By electing Anne McLaughlin on Thursday, local people can elect a champion for Inverclyde who will fight for jobs for Inverclyde and job-creating powers for Scotland."
