Job fair for axed Hall’s staff

AXED workers from the Hall’s of Broxburn meat processing plant are set to attend a job fair tomorrow as they look to get back into employment.

The fair will take place between 10am and 4pm at Strathbrock Community Centre, where ex-Hall’s staff can meet with a number of prospective new employers, and get support and advice on issues such as education and training options.

Training courses are being developed for those affected by the plant’s imminent closure.
