Jenny still on that Yellow Brick Road to Oz

OVER The Rainbow contestant Jenny Douglas's dream of starring as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz is getting more and more likely as she survived another week of the popular reality show.

Jenny, 18, a former Tynecastle High School student, is said to have impressed Andrew Lloyd Webber in the first few weeks, and she is planning to keep up her strong performances.

The finalists have been reduced to eight after singer-actress Dani Rayner, 16, from Cheshire, was eliminated from the BBC1 talent show.

Dani found herself in the sing-off against fellow hopeful Danielle Hope after the pair received the fewest public votes following their performances, but Lord Lloyd-Webber used his casting vote to save Danielle.

Jenny, from South Queensferry, said she is "very aware" each week could be her last and goes on stage willing to give every performance her all.
