Jambo woes are ‘shame’ says Murray

SCOTTISH tennis ace Andy Murray has refused to gloat over Hearts’ tax issues as he admitted Hibs could be relegated.

The world number four was sympathetic to the plight of the Tynecastle team and said football chiefs had to take stock of how clubs were run.

He described the Jambos’ position as a “real shame”.

Andy, Jamie and Judy Murray spoke to the News ahead of a live talk hosted in the National Museum of Scotland yesterday. The trio talked about their careers, passion for sport and Judy’s Set4Sport initiative aimed at getting more young people active.

Asked if Hibs could beat the drop, Andy said: “You’d hope so but you never know. They are doing alright in the cup and that’s some consolation.”
